Larne Borough Sports Forum
Larne Borough Sports Forum is a body made up of local sports representatives, elected members and staff of Larne Borough Council. Membership is open to all sports clubs, community groups and schools within the Borough of Larne.
The objectives of the Forum are as follows:
- To support and develop coaching and sports administration within the Borough.
- To annually recognise and celebrate the achievements of sports persons and clubs throughout the Borough.
- To operate as an independent assessor for Larne Borough Council’s sports grants scheme.
- To provide a forum for information exchange, advice and support on all sports-related issues.
- Advising Larne Borough Council on sports/recreation issues.
The Forum is served by an Executive Committee which meets approximately six times per year and is elected at the Annual General Meeting in October.
