Business Awards Launch 2009
The Third Larne Borough Business Awards has been launched at Ballygally Castle.
The awards in association with Larne Borough Council and Ledcom will take place at a carnival event on 25th September where the great and the good of the Larne business world will be recognised and awarded.
Linda McCullough, Director of Development from Larne Borough Council attended the launch and said: “We are really looking forward to this year’s business awards. We last held it in 2007 and are looking forward to seeing the entries we will get this year. In a time of economic downturn, it’s important to take time out to celebrate and encourage our local business community. We have a really high quality judging panel and with Pamela Ballintine on board to host the event it promises to be a night to remember.”
This year’s award categories include: Newcomer of the Year (Sponsored by Ledcom), Excellence in People Development (Sponsored by Premier Power), Retailer of the Year Award for Multiples and Independents, Business Growth, Tourism Project of the Year, Business Personality of the Year, Marketing Initiative of the Year, Innovation/Innovator of the Year (Sponsored by Invest Northern Ireland) and Green Company of the Year (Sponsored by Netregs).
