Annual Visitor Numbers
The graph below illustrates that the annual number of visitors to Carnfunnock Country Park has grown substantially since the Park officially opened in 1990.
Over the last 5 years, with continued investment in facilities and increased awareness, visitor numbers have continued to grow and the Park achieved its highest ever number of visitors in 2010 (223,406 visitors).

The Park’s manned attractions are open from approx. Easter until September and at week-ends in October each year. However the forest walks, toilets, adventure playground, walled garden and driving range remain open all year round.
Figures compiled from 1999 onwards have been calculated using the same formula, allowing for this off season usage and for year on year comparison. The above figures are submitted on an annual basis to the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
