Amazing Mazes
NEW FOR 2012!
The Carnfunnock maze was officially opened in 1991 to mark Northern Ireland's contribution to the International Year of the Maze and continues to remain a must visit attraction within Carnfunnock Country Park.
New educational material has recently been produced by world re-knowned maze designers, Adrian Fisher Mazes and although copyrighted is free to download, provided it is not reproduced for commercial purposes.
These various fun activities will encourage both families and teachers to take Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils on an exploration of the maze and to discover how it can be used to educate children about maths, english and even the arts. The worksheets are in PDF format and can be downloaded by clicking the links highlighted within the Key Stage 1 and and Key Stage 2 web pages.
