Larne Museum and Arts Centre is continuing to develop its links with the local community and strives to provide a wide ranging and varied educational programme.

Victorian Day in the museum.  Book your class in on the 10th November to meet 'Julius Drake', Victorian explorer, conservationist and dragon hunter!  Ideal for classes studying the Victorians, Julius is an excellent story teller. Places are limited and  must be booked in advance, they are going fast, so book now by ringing Larne Museum and Arts Centre.

Myths of the Vikings. The Clydebuilt Puppet theatre from Scotland will be visiting Larne Museum and Arts Centre on the 27th January to bring Viking Histor to life with their internationally successful puppet show. Few places remain so to book your class in ring the museum now on 02828279482.

Art for all!

The Big Draw 2009- Attention all nursery clubs and schools, letters inviting you to take part in the Big Draw 2009 have already sent out and 2 days are booked out already.  To put your class down for this exciting project, working with an artist please ring Larne Museum and Arts Centre.

Hallowe'en Exhibition.  Everyone from an organisation is welcome to submit their work for a Hallowe'en exhibition in the museum and Arts centre this October.  There will be prizes for different caetgories and these are
