There are three kerbside collections available in the Borough.
- Grey bins- general household waste.
- Blue bins- dry recyclables.
- Brown bins- garden waste, food waste and shredded paper
Kerbside collections commence at 7.30am and bins should be at their collection point before this time to ensure collection.
Bins should be placed at kerbside, edge of road, or the nearest tarmac’d surface (in the case of new developments) with lids completely closed and handles facing out.
Bins must be in good working order; no splits, no missing wheels, no ropes attached, and both handles in place.
Collections will be made up until 5.15pm on the day of collection.
One grey wheeled bin only will be collected per household.
No additional bags will be accepted.
Householders may present up to two of each of the recycling bins for collection.
Details of items that can or cannot be placed in the recycling bins can be found in ‘Recycling - Frequently asked questions’.
