Plaque To The Pioneers
Location: Quay Street, Larne
This plaque, sited close to the old harbour area, pays specific tribute to the emigrants who sailed from Ulster to America, the pioneers who pushed forward to the horizon and beyond. They became frontiersmen and women who helped forge new communities and, eventually, a new nation.
